With the InfiniteFocus you benefit from a 3D micro coordinate measurement machine and surface roughness measurement device in only one system. The range of measurable surfaces is almost unlimited, enabled by the use of coaxial lightning and optimized LED ring light. You achieve traceable measurements that combine high resolution, high repeatability and high accuracy. All relevant surface features are measured using only one multi-functional measurement sensor. Generally, the optimal setting of measurement parameters is provided automatically. This allows multiple users in different groups or departments with different materials to use the system with ease and confidence.

Light coming from different directions is used to positively influence a measurement. In addition, the measurement of the maximum flank angle is not restricted by the numerical aperture. Depending on surface, you can measure up to 87°.

Meaningful quality assurance requires area based measurements. Alicona's Real 3D technology enables full form measurement of components. This is achieved by a range of accessories with motorized rotation and tilt axes.

 
 
FOCUS-VARIATION TECHNOLOGY
Focus-Variation combines the small depth of focus of an optical system with vertical scanning to provide topographical and color information from the variation of focus. The main component of the system is a precision optic containing various lens systems that can be equipped with different objectives, allowing measurements with different resolution.
