The currently available spectrum of InfiniteFocus X-Large solutions includes travel ranges from (mm) 200 x 200 up to 1000 x 1000 with a max. measurable weight of up to 200 kg. However, on request an increased weight of components is achievable. This flexibility is also valid for possible applications as each solid material is measureable as soon as there is a minimum surface roughness of only a few nanometers.
Focus-Variation combines the small depth of focus of an optical system with vertical scanning to provide topographical and color information from the variation of focus. The main component of the system is a precision optic containing various lens systems that can be equipped with different objectives, allowing measurements with different resolution.
