About the Speakers
Mr. Dominik Urlep, currently working as the Regional Manager for the Asia Pacific Region at Bruker Alicona, has been a part of the Alicona family since 2016. His journey with Alicona began as an Application Engineer, specializing in Cobot systems in the application centre. His expertise led him to manage Key Accounts between 2020 and 2022, where he supported renowned global companies across the tooling, automotive, and aerospace industries. Since October 2023, he has been leading the charge in the Asia-Pacific region as a Sales Manager.
Prof. Dr. Azman Jalar is a distinguished academic figure at the National University of Malaysia (UKM), where he holds a prominent position as professor of applied metallurgy. Interest in metallurgy and materials especially in electronics packaging, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role at UKM, where he is actively involved in teaching, mentoring students, and conducting groundbreaking research.
He boasts an impressive two-decade tenure mastering the intricacies of InfiniteFocus measurement technology. His profound expertise stems from being a pioneering figure who introduced this cutting-edge measurement methodology to Malaysia in 2005. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, Prof. Dr. Azman Jalar has continually pushed the boundaries of technological innovation in his field. His relentless dedication and wealth of experience make him a trusted authority in the realm of InfiniteFocus measurement, shaping its application and advancement in Malaysia and beyond.
