Precitech (AMETEK® Ultra Precision Technologies), established in 1962, produces ultra precision machining solutions for freeform diamond turning, milling, and grinding, which are used to produce optical lenses, mould inserts, mirrors, and precision mechanical components.  Her machines produce rotationally symmetric, asymmetric, freeform, and sculpted geometries with form tolerances in the sub-micron range and nano surface finishes, supplied in the following configurations:
 

  • Nanoform X - Slide Travel: 220mm, Max Feed Rate: 4000mm/min, Swing Capacity: 250mm / 222mm over optional B-axis and Spindle Speed: HS 150 = 10,000rpm
     
  • Nanoform 700 ULTRA - Slide Travel: X-350mm / Z-300mm, Max Feed Rate: 3000mm/min, Swing Capacity: Max swing 1m diameter and Spindle Speed: HD 160 = 5000rpm, HS 150 = 10,000rpm
     
  • Freeform L - Slide Travel: X-350mm / Z-300mm / Y-150mm, Max Feed Rate: 3000mm/min, Swing Capacity: 500mm – can be expanded to 700mm and Spindle Speed: HS 150 = 10,000rpm
     
  • Nanoform L 1000 - Slide Travel: X-500mm / Z-300mm, Max Feed Rate: 3000mm/min, Swing Capacity: Max swing 1m diameter and Spindle Speed: HD 160 = 5000rpm, HS 150 = 10,000rpm
