POLYWORKS | INSPECTORTM
The training for PolyWorks|InspectorTM enables PolyWorks users to be able to inspect parts using the software. The training first covers an introduction to the PolyWorks software and new features such as Feature-based alignment, Comparison points – Surface comparison points, etc.
There will be sessions comprising of, but not limited to, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Scanning with a line scanner using real-time quality meshing (RTQM), Probing (with or without a CAD model) and Combining probing and scanning for inspection, cross-sections, datums, etc.
- Introduce the PolyWorks interface and the inspection workflow
- Acquire scanned and probed data
- Create a high-quality polygonal model using the real-time quality meshing technology and feature scanning guidance
- Align data to the CAD model using surface information as well as feature-based, reference targets, and Datum Reference Frame alignments
- Create data color maps and other measurement objects; set controls and define tolerances
- Visualize, report, and share inspection results using snapshots, tables, and formatted reports
- Repeat an inspection process automatically, without programming, using Play inspection’s autogenerated measurement sequence
POLYWORKS | MODELERTM
The training for PolyWorks|ModelerTM enables PolyWorks users to be able to reverse engineer parts using the software. The training covers an introduction to the PolyWorks software and the reverse-engineering workflow and includes sessions on Polygonal model editing, Modeling tools, Surfacing and Sketching.
- Introduce the PolyWorks interface and the reverse-engineering workflows
- Acquire scanned and probed data
- Create a high-quality polygonal model by using the real-time quality meshing technology
- Edit the polygonal model for repair and/or reshaping purposes
- Model prismatic shapes using sketching tools for parametric and associative downstream modeling
- Model freeform shapes using NURBS surfacing tools for downstream modeling
POLYWORKS | INSPECTORTM PROBING
The training for PolyWorks|InspectorTM Probing covers the key concepts of a typical inspection workflow. Trained users will be able to perform inspections using probed data.
The training will include sessions on Feature-based alignment, Comparison points – Surface comparison points, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Using device positions, Cross-sections, Datums, etc.
- Introduce the PolyWorks interface and the inspection workflow
